The Pastor and His Donkey Joke
The Pastor was so pleased with the donkey that he entered it in the race
Again, and it won.
Again, The local paper read:
PASTOR’S ASS OUT FRONT.
The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the Pastor
Not to enter the donkey in another race..
The next day, the local paper headline read:
BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR’S ASS.
This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the Pastor to get rid
Of the Donkey..
The Pastor decided to give it to a Nun in a nearby Convent..
The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline the next day:
NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN.
The Bishop fainted!
He informed the Nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she
Sold it to a farmer for $10.
The next day the papers read:
NUN SELLS ASS FOR $10.
This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the
Donkey and lead it to the plains where it could run wild.
The next day the headlines read:
NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE.
The Bishop was buried the Next day.
MORAL FROM TODAY’S LESSON:
Being concerned about public opinion can
Bring you much grief and misery. It can even shorten your life …
… So be yourself and enjoy life to the fullest.

Being too over zealous with any personal behavior and practices are major factors of a high stress life style. Often times those individuals manage to make life unnecessarily more difficult and stressful for themselves and people who liberally choose to be around them. Typically people like that exhibit one or more forms of personality disorders. The main trait of those personalities are to maintain a sense of control in order for their lives to be viable. When their daily routine or their beliefs are disrupted, they immerse themselves in their self induced stress. The Bishop is a prime example a compulsive and anal-retentive end product of overly critical social environment. I thought this joke had a good moral, and in conjunction, it was also entertaining. =)
hahaha Jia, you crack me up like the view most people see when a plumber’s at work.
Most people create the stress in their life which is not necessary. Everyone has the common mistake of getting more mad when something doesn’t go as planned. It’s nature. Although if the event just happens and their isn’t any addition stress added to it, then the event is nothing but a mere setback. From your comment, what I got out of it was “typically people like that exhibit one or more forms of personality disorders” … the Bishop is a prime example …
hahaa, j/k

Yeah, people become frustrated, disappointed and annoyed when things don’t go as planned. They then either dwell on it, or amend it. It’s those who let those emotions simmer inside them that becomes problematic. It’s like the Jekyll and Hyde story. Everybody has a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. That is human nature, learning how to control it is the greater challenge.
